about Joseph G. Misiaszek

Pastor, Teacher, Speaker, and Author

Joseph G. Misiaszek lives in Colorado with his wife, Kanda, and children, Joseph Boyd (JB), Christian, James, and Elise. They also have an older daughter, KaiLee, who is married to Jacob and lives in another state. He taught middle school math, science, and technology for twenty-five years and still teaches math at the community college level. He is the pastor of First Baptist Church of Vona in Vona, Colorado, served in youth ministry, led as a youth pastor and helped start the men’s ministry at Fellowship of the Rockies Pueblo. He is the son of Joseph L. and Rosemary (Kitty) Misiaszek, who raised him in faith and belief in God and started his faith journey by laying a solid foundation of who God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are and making God a priority in his life.

This book is a good way to either start your day, end your day or even to read during a break in your day. It is a daily devotional book (has a devotional for every day of the year.) Each devotional starts with scripture then helps guide you to apply the Word of God to your life, through asking multiple self evaluation questions. This is helpful when you feel like your faith is stagnant or if you desire to take your faith deeper. The devotional are relatable to many, regardless of where you are at in your spiritual journey. Joe shares from current events and his own experience to illustrate the focal verse for the day. I was privileged to receive Joe’s regular texts as he was developing the content for this book. I always looked forward to them.
